Rael Jaffe is the Commercial Executive at RecoMed, South Africa's largest digital healthcare booking platform and patient marketplace. Rael is responsible for leading the company's business development function ranging from partnering with large insurance enterprises to managing a nationwide sales force. Rael has over 16 years of experience across multiple sectors building teams, driving growth and strategic initiatives in a range of complex operating environments. Rael is based in Johannesburg and is an avid member of the local competitive padel and golf circuits.

• Siphiwe is a Risk Manager in the Health Professional Unit at Discovery Health with extensive clinical experience from working in both the public and private healthcare sectors. His clinical background is in Physiotherapy and he holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health (Cum Laude) from the University of York and the University of the Western Cape respectively. Siphiwe is driven by a commitment to improving patient care and is passionate about leveraging innovative approaches to optimising healthcare delivery.

• Darren Sweidan is the Head of the Health Professional Unit at Discovery Health. His undergraduate training was in clinical physiotherapy. Following training in business administration Darren joined the Netcare Hospital group in 1999. He spent 3 years in hospital administration and a further 2 years in group hospital finance. He entered the field of healthcare funding when he joined Discovery Health in 2004. Until the end of 2014 Darren was responsible, with the support of the Health Professional strategy team, for engagement with Medical Specialists, General Practitioners, Dental and Dental specialists’ as well as Allied and Therapeutic Professionals. Darren now heads the Health Professional Unit with continued responsibly for engagement with medical professionals in addition to the Discovery Health Value Based Care, Professional Billing Intelligence, Health Quality and Auditing Risk Management units.
