Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) are nowadays among the hottest buzzwords in the world. Medicine and dentistry were not left aside – AI-based products and systems are already available and allow every dentist to provide elaborate diagnosis, improving the detection of common clinical findings, standardizing the quality of X-ray reading and diagnosis, and preventing misses and mistakes.

In the lecture, we will focus on common uses of AI in paediatric dentistry - in CBCT and X-ray based diagnosis, visualization improvement, and additional reports for endodontics, orthodontics, and other treatment modalities. AI-assisted diagnostic and visualisation modalities will be presented using real-life clinical cases.
