Introduction in Endodontic file metallurgy and the impact on the effectiveness of various material types in the mechanical debridement of endodontic canals. The correct use of files prevents iatrogenic complications and ensures optimised cleaning, however a single metallic state affects the file navigation within the canal and its cleaning ability. FKG has introduced a file in the form of their Race Evo and XP Endo range which boasts both martensitic as well as austenitic characteristics in differing temperature settings. The hands on workshop introduces the delegates to the FKG range of files that exhibits these properties as well as their game changing XP shaper and Finisher files which further boasts unique design specifications to enhance 4 dimensional cleaning.
