Louis Gerke (South Africa)

Louis Gerke

South Africa

Louis Gerke launched The Ripple Effect in 1996 after his first career in Financial Management. The 27 years have been a constant journey of learning and development as Louis believes in the notion that everyone and everything around him is his teacher.

The Ripple Methodology is grounded in practicality. With his ear to the ground and through his powers of observation, Louis uses each interaction with his clients to hone his facilitation skills.

Every session that is requested by our clients is motivated by a need. If you are going to be part of a Ripple session or have the choice to join one, then an opportunity for you to tap into this methodology has opened.

When there is the meeting of openness between Louis as facilitator in understanding the need of the day and the delegates in their openness to explore, magic happens.

The Ripple Effect is aligned with the principal of outcomes-based facilitation.

• All goals once set are desired outcomes.
• All desired outcomes require a shift in behaviour.
• All shifts require change.

Some changes are achieved through introducing new things, others through the stopping of actions that no longer serve the goal, and others by tweaking existing behaviours.

Topic: An update on Dental materials management & Stock control

I began my career in clinical practice, and I am currently a Sales and Product Line Manager for Wrights Health Group. My experience in both clinical practice and distribution provides valuable insights from both perspectives. Inventory management is essential for developing an efficient, productive practice. With a well-designed system in place, you can take the guesswork out of ordering products. Regular stock audits allow you to see how many supplies you have on hand and how much you use. Audits let you make informed decisions on how much stock to order, so you avoid running out of product when you need it the most. Additionally, inventory management can help save money when purchasing products. An effective inventory management plan allows you to know how much product you need and avoid over-ordering. It also enables you to decide when to order based on expiration dates to ensure you waste as little product as possible. My lecture will provide key points regarding Inventory management.
